Hello, Beware of the below job scam happening amidst the current COVID situation.
- You get an email from a company's mailer system (Eg. Pyroxen Systems, Gux it, etc.,) seeking candidates for Work from Home.
- They make sure that you believe them by asking just your Drivers License instead of SIN, unlike the usual scammers.
- They tell you that the job involves a 10-day paid internship period, where your work will be monitored and then your position gets confirmed based on your performance. They do not ask any sensitive information from you.
- They say you will be paid 1300 CAD per week through Interac.
- They chat with you in a Telegram secret chat, where they discuss about the job details.
- Then they ask you to create a Bitcoin account.
- After you join the company, they exploit you to help them in their Money laundering business. This seems to be a big network - Beware of them.
Companies that I have heard till now : Pyroxen systems, Gux it.
They create advertisements and websites to make sure you believe them.
